Gedonia - Answering some Frequently Asked Questions

This is a video answering some frequently asked questions I saw in the Gedonia Discord, so i thought I'll have a crack at trying to explain things. Welcome to the world of Gedonia.

Gedonia is an open world roleplaying game, inspired by oldschool classics. Become a simple traveller and adventure seeker, explore huge world of Gedonia, progress your character any way you want, discover hidden treasures and mysteries and fight vast array of enemies.

The vast world of Gedonia is a beautiful place with a lot of unexplored areas, and you are just a simple adventurer, who leaves home village in the search of a better life. But no matter which faction will you join, you are starting to notice strange events happening, that might bring something very bad to this world.

Complete freedom of building a character in any way, you can be a powerful mage, strong warrior, agile assassin, charismatic leader, skillful crafter or anything in between.

Join in different factions with their own lore, characters, stories and quests.

Explore and conquer scary and mysterious dungeons, find rare loot, defeat powerful bosses

Find and recruit unique allies to your party.

Uncover mysteries, solve puzzles and complete platforming challenges in the world.

Multiple ways to complete one quest! Use raw strength, charisma or stealth skills to complete the objectives.

Build and decorate your own house, plant and gather plants, farm animals.

This game is so janky but so fun. Reminds me of those random RPGs I would play as a kid without really caring about any of the issues they had because they were so obviously a passion project, just like this one.

Single dev and made a better companion system than Bugthesda. Shows that a single person with a passion can do a lot better then dozens with none. Smh

Just started this today. It feels a little clunky so far, but I like the "simple" art style, and I want to play more to see what is going on.

It's so good, just started it myself and I can't believe one person made it! My issue is deciding what to go haha. I hate not having a dodge but I love some of the warrior stuff and I want to fly too haha. I also want to craft all the things! lol

I heard INT/CHAR build is damn good. Summon skeletons and have 2 or 3 companions to do the tank work while you shoot off your spells in the distance. And if you want to sorta cheat just save/reload the game if your companions die and they are alive again so you can take on bosses (their HP does not go to max when you do this, stays the same at whatever HP is left from the fight). It's how I took down the dragon with my 2 companions at level 34. Dragon mount is game changer. You can even use companions as bait if you wanna gather high level resources and get on the dragon and fly away.

Honestly the Game has a certain charm to it. Currently playing through and trying to 100% achievements.

i play as mage, just because i like be powerful imbalance wizzard-oneshot, but also i like have much magic option, like flying.
But bard with serenade plus companions pretty interesting.

I have a question, I see that on some spells it says that when used with a skeleton, it will give it new abilities. Like for instance the ice one says it'll make the skeleton agro enemies and give it more armor, but it doesn't seem to be working. How do you combine the spells effects?
