Stela is a cinematic, atmospheric platformer about a young woman witnessing the final days of a mysterious ancient world.

So this is MY THEORY about the story:
These monoliths are coming to rescue some of the planet's fauna/flora before the planet dies due to a STELLAR explosion (as seen on the last minute). Like an alien race compiling and sorting DNA inside a huge mother-ship, before moving on to another planet in iminent danger due to a similar STELLAR fate. It is almost like the monoliths were showing images of species they STILL NEEDED to collect DNA as she progressed, culminating in her own monolith glyph in the end, suggesting the human DNA was the last to be stored.

The final scene shows the next planet bound to disappear, and a monolith already advertising the need for a HERO to come and do it all over again, in a cycle. Something like "Come on, we need the DNA of the bravest among you. Come and represent your race among our genetic pool database."

this game made me so emotional for some reason. like i felt bad for the character bc we don’t know who they are, so how can we assume they know who they are? are they just a mindless life form, made to do the same thing over and over again? who do they work for? do they work for anyone? it’s just...wow

This is a strikingly beautiful side-scrolling game! And it's amazing how caught up in the game you become without any dialogue or even knowing what the plot is. I watched this video all the way through like a movie - and a GOOD one at that.

21:39 I’m stuck here because the character won’t grab the lever. I’m playing on the phone, but I’ve never had any issues grabbing stuff in the game earlier. I’m clearly pressing and holding down on the lever and my character is definitely standing close enough. I’ve even tried restarting the game but nothing works.

Thanks for your help starting at 51:54 and a bit ahead. I really enjoyed the game. Inside is better but this was fun to explore every night over the course of a week. I can’t say I’m going to try and get all the trophies though.

I'm just playing through, and I exited the snow section. So it cut to the next scene at 46:45, except she's not there. Even if I reload at that point, it just shows the entrance of that section, and she's not there, so I can't progress. I even tried finishing the previous section again, but she just never appears in the next section. Has anyone else had this happen? I don't want to restart, but I don't know what else to do. I don't even know that it wouldn't happen again if I did restart. This sucks!
