Okay in the air duck filter box there's another filter in up top part of the box. what do I do when it gets dirty? Can I take that filter out or not?.

I just replaced mine and my ac stopped getting cold.

I thought of doing it, but I'm too chicken. I'm afraid I will brake the mass flow sensor wire and I'll clean it as long as I'm there. Also I'm not sure if I will seat the filter exactly in the box. The new filters are.. are.. Well they are not as good as the old ones. I'll leave it at that. Filter bought from Toyota parts.
