Celtic team's Rangers joke that annoyed Billy McNeill and sparked double winning season

In 1988, #Celtic won the double and stopped #Rangers dominance in Scottish football. Mick McCarthy had joined the Glasgow team but experienced the different expectations at #CFC immediately during a pre-season photo shoot when the big elephant in the room was that there were no trophies to take pictures with. Some of the Celtic players made a joke about it but it didn't impress legendary Celtic manager Billy McNeill and McCarthy says it sparked their success in 1987/88 in the Scottish football league and Scottish cup.
