Rimworld Royalty OST #11 Block Universe - Alistair Lindsay

The eleventh song of the Rimworld royalty soundtrack composed by Alistair Lindsay from the new 'Royalty' DLC Rimworld released this year.

I own nothing, all rights go to Ludeon Studios and Lindsay Audio Services.

Rimworld is a top-down simulation game where you have to control a number of colonists on a dangerous eventful 'rimworld'. Survive from enemy raids, insects and mechanoids to eventually build a spaceship and escape the planet.

RimWorld is developed by Tynan Sylvester and Ludeon Studios.
Or you can buy it on steam:

For me, this track makes me imagine a disgruntled pawn, feeling self-pity after a particularly bad raid, but then looking out at the colony and seeing the other pawns busily repairing damage. Suddenly having that feeling of belonging and love, reinstilling them with optimism.

A lot of Rimworld soundtracks do this, but this one especially feels like its time to move on after something difficult. Someone's missing an arm, a wall is broken down, you just buried your favorite alpaca, or maybe worse happened. But the world goes on. Hori is mending the cuts on Carol. Skye is rebuilding the wall. And Moira is still tending the fields, as if nothing ever happened. Because moving on is all we can really do in face of adversity. It's that peaceful yet daring feeling, that impossible hope that we all possess, to see infinite loss and respond with infinite persistence. That surprising happiness coupled with a background sadness, a shower of rain when the sky is clear and sunny, a dandelion growing from concrete. That's the feeling Rimworld gives you, and it's embodied in this song perfectly.

Best soundtrack of Rimworld:Royalty! This song just evokes feelings of intense melancholy, nostalgia, and hope, and I love it.

I was playing rimworld and it started raining in game and then this song came on. I just paused it, put my feet up and relaxed. Really relaxed listening to the song with the rain in the background. And that's why I came and found this song now on youtube.

This is one of the newest songs I hear the most. I don’t know why but this one pops out the most. Always a joy to hear it though, always seems to play for me during just peaceful times really 🤔

This is the song that played right before I loaded all my pawns on their spaceship to beat the game for the first time. This song will always remind me of that, even when it plays during my 500th playthrough

Rimworld has to be one of the best video games ever released. This feels like the calm moment after a really terrible time, which is pretty common in rimworld lol.

This is the kind of music you listen to while being wrapped in the arms of your significant other, silently rocking left to right underneath a starry night sky.

I love this so much, I spent ages trying to find it. One of those emotion jerkers, an incredible gem hidden in a video game soundtrack

Alistair, if you're reading this, you're a genius and I really appreciate your music. I'm getting a guitar and I'll teach myself how to use it just to play the music you produced. Thanks man
