I always try to put the white balance using kelvin I mean it’s just so much easier to edit because you set the white balance and assuming the light doesn’t change you’re all set. Imaging not have a flash and your shooting somewhere where it’s somewhat lit but the lights you have are form a couple disco balls… complete nightmare in post

I shoot 5500k unless the environment is extremely warm or cool.
