I love that most of the changes are simple quality of life instead of massive rehauls. I also appreciate how you are essentially releasing an "upgrade pack" for those of us who already have a copy. Not a lot of companies would do that. SM continues to prove it is a solid company that puts customers first.

I am so grateful that you are including not only a separate solo pack but the updated panorama cards in it! I have owned the original game since 2011 or 2012, and I haven't played it a whole lot in part because I've struggled to find anyone to play it with. I think my kids may enjoy it soon, but the solo option is very exciting and I agree about the panorama cards.

This is the first I've heard of you producing a new edition of Tokaido. This is great news! Super-excited for the solo mode. Thank you for making a separate pack for the solo mode that existing owners can get (and for including the updated panorama cards)! I'm also excited to hear at the end, that you will likely also be producing a new edition of Namiji! I've been wanting to get that game for so long, but I've held back for two reasons: no solo mode, and I really wanted the deluxe edition but I missed the kickstarter and don't want to pay "ebay prices" for it. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it!

I’m so glad to hear that you’ll be offering the solo mode materials separately! I was truly hoping you would. Tokaido was my introductory game to modern board games, so it holds a special place in my heart (and shelf)!

Wow! This is awesome stuff! I wish this is how more companies would reprint games. When I buy a reprint, I don't want different rules, or different characters or art... I want to be able to play the original game with the same rules (functionally). Adding new optional rules like solo play is great because it doesn't affect those who still want the original experience!

Thank you for the upgrade pack! We have the old kickstarter deluxe version and it's fantastic, and a centerpiece of our collection. I love the new changes that you've made, but couldn't justify replacing the game. The upgrade pack is perfect for us.
