Well worth it to fix that car instead of buying new. Remember the price of a new car isn’t just sticker. You have higher insurance, sales tax, excise, registration, dealer fees etc and none of that goes towards the car itself. So many people neglect their vehicles. Take care order what you drive.

Also, am I the only one who hates painter bumper covers? I really enjoy everything about the vehicle I have except one, painted bumper covers. They look nice when new. Came with the vehicle factory painter. If I ever have to replace them they will be black plastic. No paint.

This is a great video. This mechanic is honest and showing what is needed to make the vehicle safe and reliable and also offers some optional cosmetic fixes to put some pride in the ride and make it look great.

With the cost of labor, is it more economical to just buy a bolt-in system, or to weld and fabricate an exhaust system for the customer?

Car has a lot of life left. This is the kind of car I would buy and flip or make it my every day driver. If they don't go for an exhaust system and CV axle, it's a huge mistake. Cheaper and better than the new car you don't know, much less the payment.

A HOLE in the exhaust system is a FAILURE anywhere.
However, New Jersey authorities have no interest in this subject.

This person likely won’t spend a dollar on it, without proper maintenance, the car will likely crap out within 2 years, and the owner will then tell everyone how terrible Toyotas are. 🤦🏻‍♂
