No chance. Including a screen on the case makes no sense. They’d be increasing manufacturing costs for no real added benefit. Why would you want to control playback/functions on the case if you can already do it on your phone? Only way this makes sense would be if they added internal storage (+basic Siri) and you could now use them independently to your phone. Again though, why?

Hey Brian great video. Isn’t voice isolation something that we’ve had for a while now? I use it all the time of time when I’m on calls. I have the Pro 2’s, some regular EarPods and Beats Pro. They seem to have the option available now and seem to work fine, the option is on the top right corner when I swipe down during a call. Am I missing something?

A case which can act as a BT transmitter would be most useful. I don't see the screen being very useful

I don’t get the idea of managing audio on the AirPod case. I barely use the thing besides wanting to put my AirPods back in. It would just drain more battery and be redundant.

The only interest I have in a display of some sort on an AirPods case is for glanceable battery info. I’ve got widgets set up but I still don’t find that super helpful for the case in particular as I have to be deliberate most of the time to find that info out. Nor do I find the current LED indicator terribly helpful. Having a clear indication on device when I’m taking the pods in or out of the case would be best. Beyond that it would just seem like an added cost that could break when dropped and have false interactions & just generally be annoying.

Voice isolation works on my Airpods Pro. Are you sure that's a new feature?

We already *have* voice isolation with AirPods Pro. You can turn it on *today*. Just get on a call, then go to the command center, and change the Mic Mode to Voice Isolation.

I wish people would stop repeating that Apple is bringing it to AirPods Pro without explaining what that means. Apple certainly didn't explain it. As a concept, it makes no sense unless you can now use Voice Isolation when AirPods are paired with non-Apple devices, but Apple certainly didn't *say* that.

Air Pods Pro 2 is probaby the best gadget i owned for years and i received it as a gift. thats another win. could have saved a lot of money on other brand earbuds. none of them offers the same mic quality.

That’s what I was gonna ask was I heard about the Mark Gurman report about the cameras? I didn’t know they were gonna be infrared, but they are going to be on the EarPods so that’s what I’m waiting for.

Since the newest Airpods Firmware nobody complained anymore about the audio quality while phoning.

This would have been awesome if only my AirPods Pro didn’t have the crackling issue when anc or transparency modes are on. :/
