Показать описание
A Freudian slip is an unintentional error in speech or action that is believed to reveal subconscious thoughts or feelings. Named after Sigmund Freud, it often involves saying something that you didn't mean to, but that reflects your true thoughts. For example, calling a new partner by an ex's name might be a Freudian slip. It's thought to be a window into the unconscious mind.

You forgot to put in the most important thing about "slips". 4 mechanisms which "produce" them are the same ones which are at work in jokes and dreams.

"Whenever a person conceals a thing in his heart it manifests itself through unintentional words from his tongue and (in) the expressions of his face".
