A 40 second lead after 7 stages is mighty impressive. This likely would have been a victory, had it not been for the mystery technical issues. But the championship isn't lost. The way Andreas is driving he is the odds favorite for the championship by a mile.

Congrats on Mikkelsen Junior! I think you should name him 'Thunderbolt' or something like that. As for the event, if you were being kind to the car, then the only other explanation must be that it was simply a cheat of fate. You cant cheat destiny. Perhaps if you got a huge boost of good news like that, then nature must find the balance. Don't worry, things would be more boring for fans if you were 30 points in the clear by now; so some more good luck yet to wish for.

Good run in Portugal this past week. I know it wasn't the result you wanted. But up until the car couldn't perform as you needed. You drove a heck of those Rally stages very well. Part of the ups and downs of Rally. As I'm learning doing the eSports WRC 10.

Must also say, the filming of the stages were outstanding. Skoda could have used that footage in their commercials.
