Basel, Switzerland-Senior Solo Travel: 5 Things to See & Do in 24 hrs.

Basel, Switzerland is a beautiful but sprawling city. Since I only had 24 hrs to explore the city, I focused on five things to see and do. The five places I explored are:
1. The Tinguely Fountain, by artist Jean Tinguely
2. Basel Minster, a magnificent Gothic cathedral
3. Mittlere Brucke or Bridge, with the Kappelijoch medieval chapel
4. Altstadt or the Old Town of Basel, which included the Basel Town Hall and Marktplatz
5. The Botanischer Garten der Universität Basel or Botanical Garden of the University of Basel.
