i've read some of these comments they're correct and incorrect, mainly just not complete lol. not tryna hate on anyone, but for those who don't know or was wondering this is from a movie called Sully and it's based on true events from 2009 in new york, U.S airways flight 1549 took off from LaGuardia Airpot in New York, minutes after take off the A320 hit a flock of geese. Both engines were damaged but due to the low altitude of the plane they would be unable to fly back to any airports in the area. Captain Sully was a former military pilot so he has experience. He safely landed the plane on the Hudson River. 1 injured, ships and helicopters came to rescue everyone on board, everyone survived. The FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) tried to get them in trouble by using simulators but the pilots they used in the simulation knew what to do the moment they hit the geese, giving no realistic reaction time. The FAA couldn’t get the pilots in trouble btw. Hope this helped!❤😊

For people who don’t know it was a airplane ✈️ that hit a flock of gooses. in mid air and 2 of the engines stoped working and the airports were to far away. so the pilot decided to land on Hudson lake and boats came and rescued all 152 passengers.

In Indonesia we also have a Sully landing, the plane was Garuda Indonesia flight 421, it's a Boeing 737-400 and the plane landed in Sungai Bengawan Solo or The Solo River. The engine suffered flameout but the captain, Abdul Rozaq managed to land the plane safely only 1 person dead. It happened way before the Sully Landing, it was on 16th January 2002
