By far, venture4wd is the best overlanding/exploring channel on YT! What an amazing year you have had Chris! Thank you for sharing your adventures, they are definitely inspiring, and motivating. I'll have to re-watch all of 2019 again. Have a Merry Christmas and all the best in 2020. Looking forward to see where your travels take you in the coming year.

Chris, words cannot express my gratitude and what your adventures have meant to me this year. I'm just now getting back on my feet after a leg injury and two operations that have sidelined me for the last eight months. You have kept me entertained the whole time. Looking forward to your continuing travels. THANKS!

Really have enjoyed your videos this year. I know while your travels bring you adventures, they cause some sacrifices as well. This doesn’t go unnoticed. Appreciate all that you do and hope you and your family has a wonderful holiday season. -Angie in Alaska

Well, 2019 has been quite a ride and I am thankful you allowed me along. The scenery, exposure to different places that are not on the beaten path, and the manner in which they are all humbly presented cannot be matched. Every Saturday morning finds me with coffee in hand, anxiously awaiting the laptop to boot up so I can enjoy your weekly episode. I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Enjoy time with your family, some well-deserved R&R, and I cannot wait to see the upgrades on the Rubicon. I, as I hope you are, am looking forward to 2020 being as wondrous and pleasantly eventful as 2019. The only thing I ask of you is to continue bringing us the world as you see it and travel through it for as long as you are called to do so. Merry Christmas, sir, and may God bless you.

Chris, I watch most of the overlanding channels and your videos are by far the most authentic, unsupported and relatable. I feel you’d be doing this with or without the followers and subscribers. Your kit is simple and achievable. I am glad you are adding heating though as warmth is not a luxury for long term living. Massive thanks for taking us along for the ride. BTW I totally agree with you on the vehicle being one single space. A double cab pickup with a demountable makes the most sense for me here in the UK but unless I can find a way to make a walkthrough I just can’t do it.

What an adventure! Thanks for taking us along. As its already been said many times, by far the best overlanding channel on YT. You keep it real, and within reach of actually being able to go out and try small trips for us commoners. No big sponsors with outrageous equipment that is unaffordable. See you in 2020, God bless, be safe.

I agree with pretty much everything below. Don't know if it bothered anybody else, but the 1 second cuts gave my eyes quite a workout. I actually had to step away after a few minutes. Adventure Overload! Keep it up, and let me echo-- one of the best youtube channels out there!

You as ever went a very long way to find the adventure and took us all along with you, with each episode you show all of us places that we would want to see and your ever adventurous nature is one of the reasons why so many people follow you, never doubt yourself or your ability to go further than think. Have a wonderful holiday time with your family and I’m sure we’ll all be eagerly awaiting your first episode of 2020👍

I had a chance to go back and revisit old episodes. It’s fascinating to see the development of Chris the traveler and human.

Wow, what a great year !!!
I'm in a van fulltime nomad for 2 years now, what a life we live! I'm working on building a 4x4 pickup based hi-lo overland box on back. I went to Moab a few months ago, I should have known better, I'm going through heavy 4x4 withdrawal
Thank you for all your work making these great videos!
