Let’s Move! - A national dance summer school presented by DanceEast and The Place
Join us this summer as we bring together some of the UK’s leading dance artists and organisations for an online summer dance course.

DanceEast and The Place have teamed up with DanceXchange, National Dance Company Wales, Pavilion Dance South West and Phoenix Dance Theatre to bring you high quality dance training direct to your own home! A vast range of dance styles will be on offer, from Creative Contemporary and Hip Hop to Commercial Jazz and company repertoire workshops.

Let’s Move! will take place over three days (Wed 12 - Fri 14 Aug) and each day you will take part in two different workshops taught over Zoom.

Over the course of the week you will have:

Daily warm-ups with all summer school participants
Two workshops (one hour each) per day in smaller groups
Six workshops in total (one with each of the partner organisations)
Various tasks, challenges and activities throughout the week
The opportunity to connect with other young dancers from across the UK
All you have to decide is whether to join us in the morning or in the afternoon! Morning sessions will run from 9.30am - 12.30pm and afternoon sessions will run from 1pm - 4pm. Please note, you must commit to all three morning sessions or all three afternoon sessions.
