everything you would expect from a Mora they are the best little knife for sure, you can always count on them, as we have pretty much start with one as our first knife, and always come back to them...

Thanks for sharing this video...you make making a fire look so easy...I know some folks that have been turned around and could get a fire going using matches. Having a good tinder with you like that fatwood is so important. I learned about feathering back in Scouts (what seems to be about a hundred years ago now lol), and even if the wood is wet on the outside there is usully some dry inside.
Thanks again Wayne.

As always a fair and honest use of a tool. We all can trust you and believe what you show is real. Thanks so much for sharing this with us and your hard work is much appreciated!!! Blessings 🙏

Exactly, don't blame you there brother, it's a nice knife for the price, but I wouldn't want to tear my knife up trying to spark with a rock unless i really was in a bad jam with no ferro rod to start fire.

Nice! I also have a stainless Garberg that I really like, but I have been buying additional carbon steel knives in budget bushcraft styles to see how well they perform. I'm becoming a fan of carbon steel now that I see corrosion is manageable with vegetable or olive oils, which are edible, fire starting aids, fuel for lamps, and useful for cooking. Thanks for the video!

Ya know? I want one of those sort of but I just can't see buying one when my $17.00 Mora MG Companion Carbon with its 3/4 tang does me just fine and starts a damn fine flint and steel fire as well. I have made three fires with my MG Carbon, flawlessly. I have also battoned 3-inch hardwood with my MG Carbon with no effort. The Garberg is not that much more knife at twice the weight but only 0 .2 inches longer and 1.2 MM wider, but costs on average six times as much as my MG Carbon for a very little boost in performance. It's like paying six times as much for only 20% better. I love the thinner MG Companion blade because it does afford me a little bit of flexibility that you do not get with the thicker Garberg. Even at only 3/4 tang, you should never be able to break an MG Companion. If you do, you're using it wrong.

Hi Wayne: May be off topic but I noticed your carrying a bell on your kit . For Bears? Aren't they hibernating in New Brunswick at this time of year? Nice knife. Thanks Brian 79
