In the fuse box (top right) under the bonnet is a special clamp to jumpstart the car. You don't need to remove he backseat.

To do a jump start the connectors of the 12v batt are in the bonnet.

I know this was a long time ago, . but how did you get the seats up? Is that detailed in the manual?
