I think the main difference between Derozan and a lot of these other players is how slow he operates. In a league where everyone is just trying to do everything faster, Derozan's slow pace is an advantage as it gives him time to actually react to defenders in real time and make delibrate decisive moves to score.
The other advantage is that it conserves his energy, allowing him to go at his defender all night and still have the lift to dunk on a Khardashian in the last minute of the fourth quarter.
