When I was in 8th grade my neighbor was in her late 40's and she was so classy and I was absolutely enthralled by her!!! She was the epitome of sophistication and pure class!!! She taught me to always have the basic colors of navy, black, white, cream and brown in pants, blazer, sweaters, shoes and skirts or suits. She worked in the big city and we lived over an hour away in the country. I looked up to her so much! I learned about fashion and trendy items and how to get the best for your money. She let me borrow anything I wanted to wear! Spending money on them solid sturdy classic pieces will be worth it in the end!!! She never used the term "capsule wardrobe" but that's what it was!!!! Gayle Dablow you are such a wonderful memory for me! ❤️

Please do more of these thrift clothing videos. It helps viewers see what we can do with our clothing budgets and how to look for quality pieces. I suggest pulling up designer looks and trying to recreate them in thrifted pieces. What about styling your mom or friends with different body types? I LOVED this video so so much. It felt very relatable 😍. Plus shopping these store helps local economies, helps the charity they support, and keeps wonderful clothing out of landfills. I could see this being a monthly content piece for you. ♥️

OMG!! You scored girl! I've been to a lot of resale/thrift stores; this one was UNBELIEVABLE!
The quality of the clothes--AND--the cheap, cheap prices were almost too good to be true.
By the way, your spirit and laughter along with the treasures you kept finding were soooo

All I can say is wow Dominique, yes we definitely need a part two. I am an avid thrift shopper. Some of my finds range from cashmere sweaters to 1960’s era vintage coats. My favorite find is an original navy pea coat with the sailors name in it and his date of birth which was 1942, from a thrift store in Greenwich New York over twenty years ago.

I introduced my granddaughters 14 and 22 to Thrift stores a few years ago. At first, they were not the least interested in going. But once I got them there - they were hooked!!! I also volunteer with a small group that provides prom dresses to girls that can not afford them. We shop the thrift stores for our inventory- we find such a wide range of sizes for the girls to select from. It's so rewarding for your own soul but it's beyond emotional to see the girls look in the mirror and see just how beautiful they are. And keeping in mind these gorgeous gowns came from a thrift store!!

I started thrifting approximately 8 years ago. I have found amazing deals with quality clothing. 95% of my clothing is thrifted . It is both fun and a smart financial choice. I rarely buy anything that isn’t thrifted! This is one of the best fashion videos you have done in my opinion. Thank you.

I am a plus size woman and take very good care of my clothes! I give them away when I buy new ones! Clothes are very expensive especially plus size! But doesn’t everyone deserve to look beautiful ❤️

I love that that sweet woman handed off her find to you when it didn't work for her! I have always thrifted and visited consignment stores since I was a barely middle-class kid who went to a very exclusive private school. Even now, I still do it. Once, I found a Chanel top for $10! Now, my daughter loves thrifting, for the thrill of it and for environmental reasons. My husband is baffled (although he gets the environmental part)! lol

Love this so much! I barely shop retail anymore.When I go thrifting somehow I come across the best stuff for the best prices. I've thought many times about doing videos like this and showing people what they can get and do with previously owned clothes, save money AND the planet! I am so glad you did this video, so FUN!
I just need a place to wear it all! And a great reminder that when you don't like something or it doesn't fit anymore, donate it someone else can love it!
