I'm a foreigner who grew up in this city, back in 2009 the city was not that big, I saw it transform till I left 2017.I was there again in 2019 it was amazing. If you get a chance to visit you'll love it, while at it take a speed train to Chengdu.

My dream destination. I should find out on Monday if I have enough money left in my RRSP so I can finally get to China. 44 years ago I was supposed to move to Hong Kong and was too intimidated because my Cantonese pronunciation was poor, then my friend told me I'd need to learn Mandarin also and I gave up on my dream.
