Brain Teasers: The Hat
Four prisoners standing as shown in the picture. All the prisoners are standing and facing the same direction. Prisoner 1 can see prisoners 2 and 3. Prisoner 2 can see prisoner 3. Prisoners 3 and 4 can see none due to the wall between them. They all are wearing a hat, prisoners 1 and 3 wearing a red-colored hat while prisoners 2 and 4 are wearing a white-colored hat. They are supposed to shout the color of the hat they're wearing as soon as they know it. They can not turn around or move from their positions. They can not remove their hat and see the color. Now, who will shout first, and why?

Reason: As cap colour of 2 and 3 are different, 1 won't be able to know which one he is wearing.
So 1st won't shout. Then 2nd will get to know that 1st didn't shouted b/c me (2) and 3 have different hat colour.
So as he sees 3 is wearing red means he is wearing white.

2 will be the first person to shout, because they will see what hat 3 is wearing, and notice that 1 does not shout. Since 1 does not shout, 2 will know that his hat is different from 3 (which is why 1 could not determine what color his hat is) and therefore 2 shouts first.

Man 2 will shout first,
man 1 can see man 2 and 3, so if both of man 2 and man 3's hats colours are same then man 1 will know his hat's colour as there is only 2 hats of same colour . As man 1 did not shout, so Man 2 can guess his and Man 3's that's colours are different. And then he can shout.

Man 2 shouts white first ;-)
Reason :
Anyways not man 3 or man 4 (they have no idea about any of the hats, including theirs).
Man 1 sees 1 white and 1 red, so he cat guess his own.
Man 2 sees only 1 red, but he knows that man 1 has idea about 2 hats. So, if man 2 and man 3 were of same colour, man 1 would shout first. But man 1s silence helps man 2 to realise that hats in front of man 1 are different colours. As man 2 can see red in front of him, he himself is wearing a white hat, and shouts first.

I'm thinking it's 2.
1 can see 2 and 3 have different hats. 2, if he's smart, is gonna figure out that if he and 3 were wearing the same color hat, then 1 would've shouted immediately. Instead, 2 realizes his hat must be different from 3 so he shouts. That might be reaching but I don't see anything else that would make sense 🤷🏾‍♀️

Number 2 because no 2 can see the red coloured hat which no 3 is wearing and knowing that no 1 is behind him who can see both no 1 & 2 but opts to remain silent.

Man 2 will Shout.
Reason:
Firstly Man 3 and 4 cannot see others hats. But Man 1 sees a white hat and a red hat and he will know that his hat can be white /red.
Man 2 sees 1 red hat since Man 1 had not shout so man 2 predict that he himself may wears a white hat so he shout

As he can see no.3 person and he noticed that no. 1 has not shout out yet means he(no. 2) and no. 1 don't have the same coloured hat.(if they would have the same coloured hat, no.3 will shout out as there are 2 red and 2 white hats). So, he (no. 2) will came to know his hat's colour and will shout out.

Number 3 and 4, obviously they don't know
So the game is between Number 1 and 2
Number 1 sees 2 (white) and 3(red) so he cant be sure which hat is wearing
Number 2 sees the 3(red) and since number 1 doesnt know his hat it means that number 2 and number 3 are wearing different hats
Thus 2 gets to shout White hat

If 2&3 both wear black hats then 1 would say red
In the above both cases fails
Now 2 knows that 2&3 are not having same colour hats as 2 can see red hat on the top of 3 He will shout first that I have red hat

Number 2 man! Number 2 man will know that number 1 man also is not sure. So he must be seeing one white and one red hat. 3rd no in front is red. So, number 2 will know he is white. So he shouts

I think the second one....because he can see the 3rd one before him....the 3rd one is wearing red hat...that's why he thought that he can't be wearied red..so he shouted first... and the first one is little confused..so he is not...

Man 2 shouts first b/c
Man 1 will shout iff Man2 & Man3 Hat color was Same. But Man1 didn't, with Clear indication to Man2 that man2 & Man3 Hats Color is different. As Man2 sees Man3 Color Red, He shouts opposite of that Color.
