Great idea, not great execution. This thing really looks goofy. I also think it's built too heavy- it appears to use conventional sprayed fiberglass construction (heavy) and with gunnels that are 3x too high. Besides these absurd gunnels cutting off the view of the water, they significantly slow the boat and add too much windage. Until solar panels are 3x more powerful, solar boats must be build feather light.
This boat will literally teach the public that solar boats suck.
