Istanbul is a breath-taking place and the largest city of Turkey. Take a walk along the ancient streets of Istanbul and discover a large number of interesting sights.
Today we are doing a walk-through featuring some of the main tourist spots in Istanbul. Imagine yourself a real tourist and walk through the historical streets. You will be fascinated by the views of the Old city of Istanbul and Istanbul Bosphorus. Take a walk and experience this amazing city life .Our walk is starting from Cemberlitas tram station, we are taking a historical route on some of oldest streets in Istanbul .We are going to visit Sultan Ahmet Square (Blue mosque and many more) and see the world's most famous orthodox church, Hagia Sophia.( It is a mosque now) After that we continue our walk to Karakoy Pier. This pier has impressive view of the old part of Istanbul and beautiful view of bosphorus as captured in the video
Lets start giving you more details about our tour;
Sultanahmet Square or the Hippodrome of Constantinople in Istanbul is the most visited place in Turkey. This area was the heart of Constantinople.(the capital city of the Byzantine Empire). There are so many historical buildings and monuments left from Byzantine and Ottoman Empires times to visit that you can easily spend so much time here. Main Historical buildings are from Byzantine times such as from Hagia Sophia, Obelisk of Theodosius, The Walled Obelisk, Serpentine Column, Constantine’s Column, Basilica Cistern and from Ottoman times are such as Blue Mosque, German Fountain, Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts (Ibrahim Pasha Palace), Topkapi Palace , Sirkeci Railway station...
In addition 4 Museums are located here such as Topkapi Palace , istanbul Archaeology Museum, Museum of Turkish and Islamic Arts and Basilica Cistern .
I am going to explore all by a walk around the oldest part of Istanbul on a sunny day covering Cemberlitas Tram Station,Hippodrome,Blue Mosque,Hagia Sophia,Sirkeci,Eminonu,Galata Bridge and Karakoy Pier. Video was recorded in 4K 60FPS Quality in Istanbul in Turkey , Hope you will enjoy !
