I don’t know why that COD is my favorite. It just feels satisfying. The hit mark sounds, the knife slice, the silencers(as you said), the headshots.... if you’re quicker and precise - you win. This game is so bare bone in many aspects, yet so satisfying. Love it

I’ve been using the same clan tag since this game on ps3 when I was 17-18. My first real online experience, I lived next door to a coffee shop and got free WiFi, and ps3 was free online play. The best time!

Best Call of duty game ever !!! Had the best moments on this one. Playing this game in the summer till 6 AM everyday haha. Also best maps are on this game hands down. So much fun and so many great memories. No over kill streaks. Just you and a rifle, and of course air Strike and standard copter .

A.) How easy it was to find a game
And
B.) The lack of hackers

This. Was my favorite CoD. It was my first, and even though it wasn't the best one, definitely my personal favorite. Watching this, it's such a simple game compared to the new MW. Same 3 attachments for all weapons, same challenges and camos, but the maps were sooo good. I would fucking love some of these to be remastered, but like you said without changes done to them. I don't think IW would do that without adding a fuck ton of corners and doors and small passageways and places to hide and power positions to snipe from etc lol. I learned on this Call of Duty, and once i finally achieved the K/D i wanted on this game after hours and hours of improving it while having 100k+ kills which was a task, WaW was released and the transition from CoD4 to WaW was actually great. I miss these old simple CoDs, with their simple maps and good logical spawn systems...
