PCT Prep 27: Whitewater PCT Canyon Loop

Braved the wind and got a nice 3.5 mile hike in at the Whitewater Preserve along the southbound Pacific Crest Trail and their Canyon Loop Trail.

I am so looking forward to Whitewater preserve - it looks gorgeous there. Shame the ranger tour didn't happen, would have been interesting to hear what they had to say.

Good video! With exception to the road walk I love that loop. That could be a fun little hike with a group. Too bad everyone else bailed. Kudos for sticking it out.

Can't believe 19 people did not show up after making reservations . Good for you for going on, anyway. 👍. That has got to be kind of exciting, though, to actually be on the trail! I just saw a Colorado Trail sign last summer and teared up. 🤗 Then I reverently touched the sign and said, "Someday! "
