satosugu fans usually say that this theme sounds rlly cheery for a scene that was intended to be really sad but i say otherwise, in my eyes this isnt a cheery and happy theme, while yes the instruments used are usually seen in uplifting music the melody tells a completely different story, in my eyes this music isnt representing something uplifting at all, but rather the feeling of desperation, its intense music rather than cheery, the way during 0:24 and onwards tends to take a pause reminds me the way people sometimes when they cry and talk need to take big gulps or pauses, and when the flutes come in on 0:51 bringing the whole piece together its a gorgeous representation of the realization that “this is it” (for satosugu at least), for me it can also represent the feeling of freedom from suguru after being basically kept in a chokehold by jujutsu society and as the piece ends 1:40 the melody (?) it takes away instruments one at a time, almost representing that pieces of satoru are being stripped from him because suguru was, in his words, his one and only, and in the end 2:07 theres only two chimes almost kinda waiting for something more but ending anyways
