It’s inspiration because the samples both have the same pitch but the meaning and the way it been expressed is different which both is equally beautiful in its own way

I mean it's not really a Japanese sample but a singer who is Japanese that whole song is in English like many of his other songs

Ofc it has like every other rap song. Most rappers have good rhythmic knowledge but very little melodic knowledge. So they just rip off other songs for melodic content. Change the speed and pitch, put a simple generic beat and viola you got a track to rap on.
