Is it SAFE to buy a PS5 from STOCK X? MY experience - 2021 Jsean

This is my second time buying something from Stock X. The first time was sneakers/shoes and this gaming Console. So far so good. Electronic devices tend to have a longer shipping time but I received all items quicker than listed. For both my shoes and the console I was given a time frame of the expected delivery. I received both items in the beginning part of the expected dates. It took me exactly 14 days from the day I ordered it to receive the console and 7 days to receive my shoes. Keep in mind that I placed my order for the console during the holidays just before Christmas and still received it on Jan 5th. The only thing that wasn't 100% was the shipping box. It was not packed very well and was falling apart. Anyone could easily see inside of it by pulling on it. The PS5 box itself was slightly dinged here and there but that could have been from the way it was poorly packed. I think it is overall worth it based on MY experiences with Stock X. I do however ultimately recommend purchasing from your local retailer such as Target. I realize that it is definitely possible since I was able to do it after I already placed my order with Stock X. I hope everyone gets their PS5 or Xbox soon! 💪

StockX is hit or miss. Items $200-$300 no problem, but those more expensive items definitely deserve a thorough second and third opinion. I bought my PS5 off of StockX but ups stole it. StockX did me right and gave me a full refund

I don't support giving into the scalpers, but on the other hand it's been over 4 months since launch and they're still not in stores and I totally understand why someone might finally break down and give in to buying one on StockX, I don't fault you for it. It is what it is sadly. On top of everything there's a global silicon shortage affecting the manufacturing of everything.

It’s literally because of this video I bought my P5 from StockX. Ordered it on January 5th & got it today a couple hours ago January 15th. So exactly 10 days. The process was nerve wrecking for me because it’s the first thing I’ve EVER ordered from StockX but everything was very thorough. I’d definitely do it again, everything was legit. Got mine from StockX too. I really wanted to get it, don’t like the fact that the price was way over retail price. But I’m enjoying mine right now and happy to have one.

Ordered mine 3 days ago and just now has been authenticated by StockX. Just waiting on them to ship it out. I'm very satisfied with the process so far and the fact they authenticate it before it ships out to you is a massive assurance rather than just buying from a 3rd party off of any other site. That's the difference and from I've read, the shortage is going to continue well into next year so I caved before it rises in price anymore than it already has. When all was said and done, I paid $805 for it which includes all taxes, shipping and processing fees. Not terrible and obviously I would have rather paid the MSRP price but at this point in time, you don't really have much of a choice. If you want a PS5, you're gonna have to pay up or hope you get really lucky with a pre-order event. I'd rather just pay up rather than hope I win the pre-order lottery.

Here’s my time line. Ordered on feb 4. Seller shipped it to stock x on Monday February 8. Stock x received on Wednesday feb 10 and verified and shipped it that same day. Received it today feb 12.

Also bought mine from stockx. Took about 2 weeks total from purchase day to the front door. It was safe and worth it because still everyone is having big issues getting one legit. I didn't want to resort to getting scalped but I just spent too much time trying to get one that it was worth 200 bucks more just to click away and get one. Nice video
