George, George, George....The U.S. has been in a rolling recession since the summer of 2022. Federal govt deficit spending of $1.3T in FY 2022, $1.7T in FY 2023 and $1.8T in FY 2024 is hiding the macro recession in plain sight. This rolling recession has slammed different segments at different times. This smooths over the macro economic data.

In my opinion<, according to what I heard in my college macroeconomics class, the reason why lower inflation would hurt the middle class is because, in order for the FED to lower inflation, they have to raise rates, lowering debt, which lowers demand. Any lower prices would be from a decline in demand. If they just get rid of all the money that they printed, reversing our inflation and bringing prices to how they were, our economy would likely collapse overnight. That's why historically, the FED dropping inflation by a percent has had a 2-3 percent decrease in GDP. But the recent surge in demand from inflation is only temporary, as people will eventually adjust and cut back on spending, which we are starting to see. The FED has backed itself into a corner. My advice to anyone feeling the heat in this inflation, just trade long term more than ever, I have made over 720k from day trading with BettyKirkman in few weeks, this is one of the best medium to backup your assets incase it goes bearish..

I have been in the financial markets for quite some time now, but I have never seen it this fabricated, this manipulated and this fake... It is a very disturbing thing to witness...

THX GEORGE, it's nice to get some positive economic news, even if it is only a short reprieve.

Americans are keeping/repairing their old cars because new cars are too expensive. Hence, auto parts sales are up and new car sales are down.

Not knowing much, had an economics professor Mr Tollefson. 1985 we were there and he was just laid off from the Ford Fremont plan. No doubt, it was dry, this nasally thin man talking economics. At this point in my life, delivering pizza, enjoying coke and getting drunk out of my mind. Go into class and Mr Tollefson stated that if this economy goes into a service economy, there will be multiple families living together. There’s other things I could say, and the fact remains the same. Was taught, by chance for $50 a semester, that was taught by the best economist that I’ve ever met. BTW, he mentioned that service will eat on each other like a bunch of leaches eating off each other.Thank You Mr Tollefson

Nice video and hat. And the dollar slide is no joke it shifts the game globally, and we feel that ripple domestically.

If parts in those numbers include parts usable in older cars, it makes perfect sense.

90% of this country has been in a recession for two years. And now everything is going to get more expensive and wages will not be going up. Sometimes this stuff is really, really simple.

There's $9.9B in the HAF (Home owners Assistance Fund). This fund is used to help home owners affected by the plandemic to pay there mortgages and other expenses. Only $8B has been used so far. The program is set to expire in Sept 30, 2026.

It's all about liquidity, George

how could that make sense... with so many gov jobs getting axed, so many bankruptcies, with retail sales going down, americans having lower economies, who's gonna buy all them cars, overpriced houses, etc? with the planning cut gov. spending... what/who's gonna drive the investments and consumption. PS: in regards to the tariffs... the US steal mints jumped at the occasion to raise the prices, to match the ones of the imported steal and aluminium imported from Canada... and the regulation alone drives up the production costs in US

You'll see construction drop off in the summer. Im already seeing it in the HVACR field. Reason is that capex budgets are set the year prior. As margins compress, those projects will be cancelled.

Production may have jumped but where are the buyers?

Water transport across the sea is 1/10 the cost of land transport across the country. I'm sorry George, but shipping cost can not be classified as a tariff.

Does the same critique apply for reciprocal tariffs?

To counter the tariff transfer cost. That's assuming the US can make up the exports, if not that increases demand
