Biden to meet with Zelenskyy, offer new aid to Ukraine at G7 Summit

President Joe Biden is expected to announce a $375 million aid package to Ukraine while attending the G7 Summit in Hiroshima, Japan. He is also expected to have multiple meetings with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy. Elizabeth Palmer is in Japan with the latest.

So they told me a lot, especially an elderly couple. The husband is Russian and the wife is half Ukrainian. They said that from time immemorial, Russians, Ukrainians and Belarusians have been a brotherly people and have the same roots and history. All of eastern Ukraine has always spoken Russian (the western regions of Ukraine speak Ukrainian, because the language appeared as a result of a mixture of Old Russian, Polish and Lithuanian, because western Ukraine lived for 400 years under the rule of the Commonwealth, i.e. Poland), and after the revolution in In 2013-2014, Russians began to be humiliated.
