DESERT CAMPING in ARIZONA – This is NOT for us! | EP. 4 Truck Camper Life Arizona

We’re desert camping in Arizona with our Truck Camper! After waking up in Sedona and enjoying a wonderful hike off the Red Rocks Loop Drive, we made a quick stop at the Montezuma Castle Monument before starting our drive to the Sonoran Desert. This desert is one of our favorite areas to visit but the way we camped wasn’t ideal – even though we had the most beautiful campsite at Lost Dutchman State Park with saguaros and the superstition mountains behind us. Then due to weather, we made the long drive the next day to Chelly National Monument. Follow along as we share our hiking and camping experience in the Arizona desert.

I'm thinking of buying a camper as well so I can go explore and travel at my own pace. I love your videos. It is really inspiring. Thank you for sharing your travels and tips in traveling.

I have often wondered if we would like a camper 🤔 You taught me alot about the ups and downs of camping. Loved this video 🤩🤩

Gorgeous area, we were just there. Thanks for sharing your camping info. I also don't wish to be around swarming masses of people while trying to enjoy the beauty. I live in CO as well & it's amazing to wake up next to the majestic mountains 😍

I am so with you guys on being away from people!!! Give me nature and quiet and no people please!! Thanks for this video. I had no real desire to go to Arizona but this shows how beautiful it is! (And so sorry about your dad, Jeannie… 🙏🏼)

Arizona sunsets are the best I’ve ever witnessed! You had some nice ones. Great info about desert camping in Az.

Beautiful nature there 🥰 Loud people and masses of people (or maybe people in general lol) always ruin the experience. Happy for you having plenty of opportunities to do dispersed camping though

Sedona is a popular place. Antelope Canyon is awesome. Did you visit Horseshoe Bend right down the road?

Sedona has always been one of my favorite areas.

AZ is such a wonderful state to travel and RV in. Yes, the noise and crazy-heads can be overwhelming at times, and that is the part I detest about RVing. The good thing about owning a truck camper is, if things get too insane, just crank up the truck, and head out of dodge. You video so well. Just gorgeous scenery, and fantastic editing. Take care.

Amazing the behavior of some people. Its pushed me further and further from pay campsites. Much lower idot factor...

I am familiar with dispersed camping but what did you mean by it changed to group camp?
