Fimi X8 Mini V-1 and V-2 side by side comparison

This will be my last flight with the Fimi mini version 1 before it goes up for sale,ill be keeping the version 2.I have had quite a few flights with the origional fimi mini and it has served its purpose but it is now time to hit the road so before it goes here is its last flight and comparison video between both drones.

Even though I'm definitely not going to buy a drone again - and I won't renew my licenses after they expire (I'm just too old for that) - I'm still interested in the topic itself. And you present the drones from the user's point of view and not from the technician's point of view. I find that very helpful.

How can I figure out which is v1 and v2? I ordered v2 but everything seems to be v1 on packaging. Please help.

Cant u try nights flight using v2....they claim v2 more power.... without night shot

Have you try putting the version 2 battery in the version 1

I really think they could have firmware the first but there making no money that way V2 is better but still same lens I don't care what fimi says it's just firmware up 😊

Its odd to do a side by side comparison and not have the video setting be the same. Personally, I thought color looked better on the V1, the greens were a little brighter. The horizon tilt on your V1 is terrible though. Mine doesnt do that. The only reason I can think of to get V2 would be the extended range, but I have trouble believing the specs that Fimi puts out. The V1 is supposed to have several thousand km range, but I rarely get more than 1. Thats in the mountains, with direct line of sight and no other interference. How has your compass calibration been with V2? My biggest issue right now is having to calibrate the compass every time I power up. Several times. GPS mode - unable to launch, compass interfered. Beyond irritating...

i think perhaps 3 version of this drone...fimi v1 2021-2022...fimi new v1 2023 and fimi v2 2023 !!

Привет. А подходит аккумулятор на fimi v1 с fimi v2? По сути корпус одинаковый, но в v2 больше ёмкость батареи и он может дольше летать. Если будет возможность проверьте пожалуйста с аккумулятором который intelligent и pro идёт вместе с fimix8mini v2

V2 looks alot better than V1 for image quality.
The tilted horizon on V1 is terrible.
