Got mine about two years ago and it is a seriously great sax, ergonomics and sound are great, a very versatile instrument that sits almost perfectly "in the middle" between bright and dark.
This instrument allows you to find "your sound", even though it is very affordable you get a instrument that can take you way beyond the "student level" sound-wise.

I made a blind test last week! I took 4 alto saxes and 4 tenor saxes out of the music stand and played. It took me 1, 5 hours and the result was astonishing: the Jupiter 700 was my personal favourite in both categories ! Buffet Crampon was 2. Yamaha was 3. At last a cheaper chinese instrument. Not bad but with some small things i didnt like. I definitly felt in love with

I recently decided to mess around with this horn while my main horn was in service, and I have to say, It is one of the best horns you can pick up for less than $2000. It plays better in my opinion than some professional horns, has exceptional tone, great projection. The only downside is the key action, which is to be expected for a student level saxophone. It also ages very very well.

I would recommend this horn to any player at any level!
