I honestly miss 2014 5SOS, and it’s also the year I became a fan.

This band will always have a place in my heart. I have a lot of memories in highschool listening to this band. Cant wait to have kids and introduce 5sos to them.

I never realized that they knew what made them different. All those clips from then old keeks and live streams really got to me. They were so small and nieve. I miss being young...

Okay, I feel like I am the only one who feels this way. I watch this and I don't cry, I'm not crying. I'm just sad, depressed. It's like a deeper kind of sadness that only the 5sos fam knows. These were the good days, before Ashton had to yell at paparazzi, before all the mystery girlfriends like Arzaylea and Bryanna, before the Rolling stones magazine(which I don't believe a thing that article says), before Luke looked exhausted, before Ashton and Michael were dealing with depression. Gone are the cute little keeks, gone are the covers that they controlled and posted, gone is the perky, open, loving band. They're still there, I know that, they still love the fans, they just seem so different. It hurts me because I can't be there for them. I can't talk to them. I can't. They don't even know that I exist and how terrible I feel. It just hurts.

Edit: I know they're very happy, I made this comment about a year ago. They've come so far. <3 It's been 5 years fam. 12/29/16

So hard to believe that four teenage boys wrote this beautiful song, especially when the video shows them just being the kids they were! Every album they've released is as good or better than the last, and I am blown away by the talent these guys possess - they are true artists who are only getting better with age!

To everyone saying that “the new 5sos is what they don’t like” I just wanna say to you is that people grow and experience new things. Thing don’t last forever. If your a real fan then you will support the boys no matter what they do, you won’t judge, make up drama, and you won’t leave the fandom. -sincerely the real fam

Why's everyone blaming them for changing? For not being the same? Like, fame didn't change them, drama didn't change them. New experiences, life and time changed them.
They changed them as much as they changed you.
If you don't feel the same towards them or their music, that's okay, we don't blame you and we don't force anyone to keep being here.
But don't blame them because they changed because it's something natural and normal to do through time.

reminds me of when i was a really big fan 2014-2017, still play their old music all the time n before when i heard this id be sad and think about them leaving us, but i was the one who ended up leaving. the song sounds personally to me as if im reminding them that they were still a big part of my life. we all grow and change tastes, their new music just wasn’t my style and i ended up drifting off. im glad the boys that were my world can make new fans happy and be their world! take care of them for me ❤️

Is it still normal to cry and laugh at the same time

This is how I imagine a heartbreak image.

Years after their break up as a band you find yourself humming this song. You can't quite remember the lyrics so you can't get it out of your head. You go on YouTube after remembering that this is a 5SOS song and start listening to it. Just then all the memories of those dorks flood into your head and you feel the warm tears streaming down your cheeks. You find that old shirt you had and hold it and the tears keep streaming long after the song is over. Your kid comes home and starts looking for you. He finds you curled up on your bed with tears streaming down, your pillow and that old shirt soaked with your tears and he asks what's wrong and what that symbol on the shirt is. You pull yourself together and tell him that this is the symbol of the greatest dorks that ever changed your life. You show him your favorite 5SOS song and tell them about the family. When they ask you why you were crying you tell them to turn on this song and watch the video. You leave the room since you know you can't handle it. You can hear your kid laughing at the end of the video and turning on another song. In the days that follow you only hear 5SOS songs coming from your kids computer and such and you smile knowing that even if they're not a band anymore the family will live on and a single tear runs down your face....


I am so sorry you guys. I never want this to be over. I hope it never will be. These guys have helped so many people and I know that they will continue to do so even after a break up. 5SOSfam for life <3
