And an update about the Snap On Cordless Circuit Tester. It does not work with glove, but could. And the battery seems unique, and the entire circuit board with battery must be replaced at once if needed.

I think with the “cover face”, that your eye is the (dino skull)nostril and the actual eye is the hole in it….. 🦖

Do we really need screw extractor pliers to perfectly close? Perhaps as they are intended to best perform opened slightly as they grasp a screw, that Engineer has made the profile to best suit the intended application. What I'm saying is you won't be removing screws with closed tips. Very nice collection of these specific pliers doc! Your well armed. You really need a selection for small medium and larger screws.

Screw extraction pliers are also great for grinding down a bolt or screw. You can grab the head perfectly secure as you do work.

The slip joint version is by far the most versatile one I've tried so far.

On the back of your previous video I bought the Engineers, my first screw extraction pliers, and they are awesome. I used them 10 times in a single day last weekend! Thank you!

Gosh, I should start reselling these. Those Engineers are $13.50 in Japan -- with the cover.

I'm missing the Engineer vise grip version, which is the one I bought first some years ago after careful consideration. Particularly if one extracts a damaged screw, the self-locking feature is of great practical value. Sin ce I do not want to buy all available objects (in contrast to You), I decided to buy the Knipex TwinGrip next, which I consider to be the most versatile of extractor pliers (and not only extraction-wise).

I've had those PZ-58's in my Amazon cart for ages now.

I work on lots of vintage buses...especially the Crowns...which use Gulmite-head screws. I use both the Engineer and Vamplier pliers on those and they work great. Nice showcase video here!

I had no idea they make these… I’ve been using a vice grip my whole life

I've had the new engineer pliers you highlighted for a few years. To me they really shine with pneumatic fittings. 1/4" to 3/8"

Tactix just came out with their own screw extraction pliers. I don't know where to get them in the US but over here in Asia, mine just got delivered today. I got them for just a dollar more over the price of the Engineer's plier sheath.

I don't like slip joint pliers that much but I do like these engineer ones because the screw extraction becomes the main reason to get them. I also think a vice grip variation is key in order to do grinding activities on the screws, which the more sophisticated my projects get, the more I see the need.

I have tried most of screw extractor in the market. For small screw the best is Neji-saurus PZ-58 from Engineer. For bigger screw you better off using screw extractor that use drill bit. Hope could help you make decision on which one to buy. Good tools indicate how much you value your skill.

I got the Vampliers version instead because it came with the jaws cap included and I got it for only $29 at the time. I just check mine and the Vamplier version doesn't close the jaws all the way neither.
As always. Great video. And the comment about not even bother to mention the price make me laugh. Thanks for talking about it on the other video.

Hey Doc, the smallest is great for woodscrews where the head broke off. I had a 4mm with the head broken off and DE smallest was the only one that fitted.

I have those in the Vampliers version... you could buy them as a kit....the VT- 001 and the VT-001-8 ...The VT-001-8 is their linesman pliers... I got them maybe 7 or 8 years ago
I have never even thought about putting IN a screw with my Vampliers...they are just for grabbing and twisting out broken and boogered screws and nuts and bolts and studs and they work great
