I really feel like this is the next generation of the acoustic guitar. I play Yamaha acoustic guitars and love them.

I got the first one available in Canada yesterday. I love it!
I ordered it after watching the 16:59 17:01 first demo a few weeks ago, and it just arrived. Amazingly good!!!
Everyone should buy one!

Awesome video, guys! To answer the questions posed around 14:00: Yes, there is an infinite number of loop layers, and the TAG Remote app is now available for free on iOS and Android!

Turning live recorded loops on/off with the app and pedal control would be a super arrangement tool and live performer.

Its nothing less than incredible!...the average chord scraper can make magic...my first gittar was a yamaha 130 in 1970...this might be my last...btw...love the alabama mix

0:12 What is that weird, boxy phasing sound when the looper starts playing back? Hope that’s not a preview of how this thing actually sounds in playback mode. If so, I’ll be returning mine promptly when it arrives

Since eventually the battery will become weak. How hard will it be to replace the battery, and will it be available to buy. Or can it only be replaced by sending the guitar to Yamaha?

What a cool sounding guitar. I just had a custom bone nut and saddle installed on my yamaha fg830 CE and I’m looking forward to playing my guitar with these upgrades. How much does this tag 3 guitar cost? I’m guessing the guitar looks as good as it sounds. Since I’m blind, eaI can’t really gage the look of stuff. I really like how versital the guitar is and just how many different sounds you can get out of it. It’s cool there is an app for the guitar. I wonder how accessible the app is with voice over. I’ve got a list of guitars I’m saving up for, but I mfght have to get this one as well.

Hi. I'm amazed by the possibilities of this acoustic. One question, does it have equalization?

I have a D18 Martin, A 1949 J-50 Gibson And an FG 830 Yamaha, And the fit and finish
H, and build quality is second to none. But it's one of the best sounding guitars if ever owned for the price, hell, even if it was twice as much, it's still a fantastic guitar. I will
Always be a Yamaha fan... The new Tag is just crazy good... Nothing like it out there.... Yamaha builds guitars from 300 to 4000 dollars, and they are all great...

Is this the sand burst finish? Looks much lighter than other pictures I've seen? This looks more like a honey to me.

I wish it wasn’t a dreadnaught. I know it adds to the sound but I can’t play one for any period of time without shoulder and back pain (bursitis). Normal sized guitar are fine but the added size makes it kick in 😢 the pain is like someone stabbing a knife into my back shoulder blade.

What kind of color finish has this guitar ?

What happens when the iOS support for the app ends? Is there a way to access everything still?

Reverb acts as a “talent” button to the average Wal-Mart American, so can you just imagine what these instruments could do!? 😂
I have owned my LS-TA (the first generation of the TransAcoustic tech) since 2019.
I’ve also owned (sold it almost immediately) a LAG HyVibe…I absolutely hated it.
The one thing I dislike about the TAG3 is the circle indicator for the tap function.
I’m not a fan of pickguards, so the clear one doesn’t bug me much.
A satin finish and smaller body would also be great.
That circle is just so ugly, but Yamaha makes awesome instruments across the board.

do loopers with this guitar ever play songs with sections? Like an A section and a B section... maybe a pre-chorus, a chorus, a verse, an outro, each with different chord progressions? Maybe a key change happens...or is it only possible to keep adding layers to the same few chords until you run out of ideas and you just stop and say cool man. Yep.

Until AI can make someone an awesome vocalist, i still have an edge. Most listeners will adore this sound. A lot of guitar players will think its neat. Then there will be those of us older musicians thinking....ok.
