I know it’s a blowout, but using the “B relievers” this game is fine imo. The series is now 3-1 with LAD lead, and our elite relievers got to rest today for tomorrow’s game. Flaherty is pitching, Yamamoto can pitch relief innings (if needed), and the bullpen rested a day for tomorrow’s game. Confident for tomorrow, and I’m not really upset about today’s game. Only wished it wasn’t much a blowout, but at least the Yankees bullpen were forced to use 5 relievers today.

Dave Roberts, the Dodgers manager didn't not "throw away" the game. He's an astute perceiver who took the high road, was being philosophical, and is looking at the whole picture, the final prize. He has my respect.

Plenty of commenters don't know baseball and some even believe in conspiracy theories. Roberts did NOT throw the game. He simply went with what he had and realized that this is a best of 7 series, not a one game series. I have no problem with any of his moves tonight.
