A little while ago, I read the entire Bible front to back as fast as I could. These are a few clips from that time! If you want to watch the series I made on reading the Bible, you can watch it on my channel!

Took 8 years. Read it slow. I didn’t just get through the Bible. The Bible got through to me. The major key🙌🏼

I’m disappointed in a lot of these comments. She’s reading the Bible; this was a fun challenge, not how she’s always going to read it. If you watched the video you’ll realize that several times she mentioned researching + reading books so closely together made it more comprehensible and interesting to her, as she remembered names, etc, better. Everyone’s walk with the Lord is different, but no less valuable. If you read it in 2 months or 2 years, that’s great. God knows your heart. Great job Rebecca! You’ve inspired me 🤍

It literally takes me like one hour just to read around three pages and fully understand them all. What you did is so amazing. May God Almighty bless you all. ♡

Congrats! Reading the Bible fast in huge chunks was life changing for me! The fastest I read it was 19 days. Last year I read it 6 times. This year I’ve changed it up and am studying the Bible indepth and am going to take closer to a year to read in entirety this time. The Lord takes us through His word doing so many different things. God has worked in me in every time I’ve read through with Him. Keep going! Reading the Bible over and over is the best thing we can

I read the Bible in 30 days every January. Currently on my 4th year doing this. The first time I did it scripture felt more alive to me than it ever ad before growing up studying it slowly. It totally transformed the way I do deeper studies throughout the rest of the year. Reading it slow and fast each have their benefits. Reading Revelations with Genesis still fresh in my mind was mind blowing. Great job!

Awesome job! Don’t listen to the negativity! There’s so much value in reading through fast! Getting the big picture of what God intended! I personally haven’t done a fast read through but want to do one soon!

You can tell so many people have never done a fast bible reading like this and think it has to be slow and meticulous. No! I have read the Bible cover to cover several times and BY FAR the most impactful way I’ve ever read it was when I set the goal of the Bible in 30 days. You have to be IMMERSED so much every day to teach that goal. You don’t sit and analyze every word. The word just WASHES over you during a reading like this. By far my favorite cover to cover ever.

It's good to speed run through because you get an idea of where everything is, and because the Word of God is alive and active it will come back to your mind when you need it, so you can look for it and meditate

I do feel like reading it slowly makes you grasp the concepts even more. And reading it multiple times makes you see things you missed before. It’s almost like it was written that way so you would need it your whole life not just for a month to read through and never pick it up again. New information is revealed to me every time I pick it up!

The first time I read the Bible I was 14 and it took me almost 3 yrs. I have lost count on how my times I have read the Bible. And each time I find something new. Not that I missed it before just that the Bible is a living book and the stories inside, can hit different each time you read it. Don’t just read it once. Continue reading it daily.

Keep it up.

I did the same thing, I’ve read it in 30 days twice now. Highly recommend. You get to see the connections in scripture in a way you never would reading it in a year or even 6 months. Listening to it in the car, while I showered, or cleaned helped me a lot. Although I did have to reread sections on occasion because it was easy to feel like I wasn’t really paying attention like I wanted to

I had to read it 4, 5 times before it really opened up to me. I started paying attention to the numbers & it blew my mind. Hang in there. All Glory to JESUS CHRIST 👑🎚️

My grandma read the Bible countless times.
So many post it notes, and hand written notes in the margins....she said she noticed and learned something new with every reading.

God Bless you, we need young people like this.

Congrats on finishing God’s Word, I’m currently reading the NKJV and I’m almost half way done and started a month ago but I find myself reading it a bit slower due to the fact that I get sucked into the stories and imagining them in real life and trying to connect with God’s Word. Nothing wrong with reading through it as fast as possible I’m sure you’ll go through it again. I plan on reading it a few times until I remember all the stories and most of the peoples names. Im in chronicles rn and there were so many kings and people to remember in Samuel and Kings.

I think everybody should do a quick read of the Bible like this at some point. I once heard somebody comparing it to drinking from a firehose: a lot gets in, a lot goes out. I think it’s really helpful for helping study the Bible as a whole document on your later, slower reads. I didn’t do my quick read as fast as you, mine was 5-6 months, but I have again and again been glad I did. It makes making connections across the text so much easier. I also think it helped me break some of my religious thinking about the Bible, and just read it at least once as one unified story with made up of many books. I was able to read it appreciating the overall structure of the whole Bible, and without stressing about taking perfect notes. We have our whole lives to enjoy the word of God, over and over again, and I think it’s just amazing to do this even once
