@0p3rationpwn It's because you only have one hard drive! It is always recommended to have fraps and the game on one hard drive and save the movie file to a completely different one

YOU SHOULD ALWAYS RECORD TO A HARD DRIVE WHERE THE GAME YOU'RE PLAYING ISN'T ON! thumbs up so people can see this.

@GamerzCorneruk because when you're playing on ONE hard drive and fraps to it at the same time the hard drive will go crazy because of the memory it has to use, i.e reading and writing. SO it is best to have one hard drive where you can only read (the game) and one hard drive where you write (fraps recording). Unless you have a SSD, then you can play and fraps on just that.

Hey man! I have an Intel i5 2500K (3.3 GHz) processor and 16 GB of RAM. It doesn't matter if what fps I choose, as soon as I choose "Full-size", it gets really laggy.

Would you recommend me to over clock my CPU or what can I do?

Well you can also try open ur twenix reporter, and exchange your HDD with a HDD+ try that, and you will also need to get a new Tuner!
What about taking FPS down???

This is the most strangest problem with my fraps right now. My fraps can record perfectly MW2 and 3. But it lags when i record "Doom" (Old 1993 game). Anyone have solutions by chance ?
