Mew ex Emerges as Key Counter to Mewtwo ex in Pokémon TCG Pocket

Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket players have discovered that Mew ex is an ideal counter to Mewtwo ex, fitting into any deck. The recent Mythical Island expansion has shifted the meta, with Pikachu ex declining while Mewtwo ex got stronger. Celebi ex is also a rising threat, but now Mew ex is getting noticed.

Mew ex, a Psychic type with one hundred and thirty health points, has an attack called Genome Hacking. This lets it copy any attack from an opponent's active Pokémon, including powerful ones like Charizard ex's Crimson Storm and Mewtwo ex's Psydrive. Though it loses two energy doing so. The three Colorless Energy cost of Genome Hacking means Mew ex can be used in every deck, regardless of type.

Mewtwo ex had dominated the meta, and mirror matches came down to who could use Psydrive first. Now, Mew ex gives all decks a chance to counter Mewtwo ex, leveling the playing field and making matches more diverse. Players will also use Mew ex in Mewtwo ex decks, for better control in mirror matches. This is bringing more variety to the Pokémon TCG Pocket meta.

The digital game launched October thirty and is successful with more than sixty million downloads and two hundred million dollars earned in its first month. Completing the first set of two hundred and twenty-six cards and sixty alternate arts will take players up to two years without spending money but those who pay can collect the whole set after spending about one thousand five hundred dollars.
