Thank you for posting this. Love watching our land masses' eternally slow ballet.

The way you showed Baltica is catastrophic. Many Baltica parts you marked did not joined Baltica until 300 Ma.

The Proterozoic actually lasted from 2.5ba to 538ma.

The current Adirondacks were only uplifted recently (~1mya?) and are described as "young mountains from old rocks". Are the anorthosite rocks in the High Peaks area the roots of the Grenville mountains?

I love this stuff. Can you ever do video on all the cratons and their names in each continent? I am always confused is Antarctica is one or two cratons. Thank you too for the video

I just watched OzGeographics and he has seen data that zircon rocks are linked Northern Tasmania to the Grand Canyon. Beyond my skill level but he obviously has more in depth studies he can interpret.

From the animation- it appears that even the Eastern Ghats are a product of the Grenville orogeny although Indian geology studies never directly mentions this anywhere. Is someone able to confirm that this is the case? Asking because there has to be some reconciliation between what geology students get taught in India vs western standard geology & its terminology.
