The fact the shutdown was on my BIRTHDAY (January 8th) angers me, and I had been wanting to play again for ages and when I finally got a PS5 I could play online on, I fucking find out. I was literally so excited to have a PS5 purely so I could play online again. 😭

I remember there was a skateboard level, and a tank level, that everyone had so much fun on. We played it on a ps3 that was in a room at this after school care center in my town. We played for hours while waiting to be picked up, it was popular and I had to take turns.

I’ve never been able to afford a ps3 myself, so I wasn’t ever able to play that level again, but now I know I’ll never be able to again. I’m sad now.

this is not surprising because companies try to minimize their losses as much as possible, which is fine.
this is like taking down a domain which you had laying around for a decade.
but compared to websites, games are usually a much bigger deal with a much bigger community, so it becomes a problem.
especially with games which fully rely on online connectivity

I don’t think they are going to make a LBP4, so I’m taking action into my own hands, when I can I’m going to make a remaster called “Little Big Planet: Restitched” which will have the online features LBP1-3 had, I just need to learn how to do it.

I loved the bomb survival community worlds, they were so much freaking fun, also the shark attack ones and you had to survive on a boat, it may sound boring to those who havent played it but omg it had to be the best game on playstation for atleast a couple of years and i miss it so much
