Is a Masters in Finance worth it for you? Its going to depend on your personal circumstances, but a top MSF, MFin, MSC degree could help you find a finance job or financial engineering job if you have tried all other avenues. Graduate school is not something you should take lightly, due to the potential of putting yourself in even more student loan debt.

I just graduated with a undergraduate in marketing but I have also always been interested in finance specifically wealth management. I would love to have a career in managing clients money making smart investments for them or even just consulting. That being said I was considering going for my MBA in Finance specifically. Do u think it would be worth it? Especially since my undergraduate wasn’t even in finance but instead marketing.

What if I returned to school for my BSc in Finance as a 3rd year and did not do any financial internships? I didn't go to a great business school and I'm having a hard time getting any firms interested in me.

Hi Kaila, I’m finishing my bachelors in accounting concentration from a community college, I’ve been working for CPA firm in taxes/bookkeeping for over 1 year now. I’ve always loved investing and using fundamentals/ analysis to make that choice. I want to switch to investments analyst/ portfolio analyst role or even REPE analyst. I’m very late to the internship applications so I’m considering doing a MSF. It’s 30K in Florida and I never had any debt from my BA since it was cheap college, also my GPA was 3.0 not great. Do you think it would be best for me to pursue a MSF ?
