I worked in a movie theater when this came out and so many people left in the first 20 minutes. I tried to encourage them to go back to their seats, but most would not listen. What a masterpiece this film is. Sure, the first part is a little jarring and a bit of an acid trip, but stick around and you will be rewarded ten-fold.
