The “striker” came from sambo background and trained everything with a lot of sambo mates (especially wrestlers). Did Greco for a year before sambo. Competes in MMA since 2013, training primarily with Russians.

When the “striker” needed to grapple, after get his legs destroyed by Jan, he did EASILY against a Jan much bulkier than Pereira.

The “striker”won’t go Chimaev-style against Alex. He’ll fight Kamaru-like, trying to control him in the cage. He knocked out Walker - a much weaker striker - grabbing his head during a boxing exchange.

The “striker” knows how to strike. Put Rakic to run away from round 2 to 3. Rakic was outpointing JIRI until he got KO’d. But Poatan is not Rakic. At least CAGE Wrestling will happen a lot in this fight.
