It was refreshing to hear the voice and the passion of a newly elected representative of Delaware. If her being transgender and serving her state is your greatest fear, you have bigger problems. Yes she may be a pioneer in being the first transgender woman in DC but that doesn't define her. There are other transgenders in government in other states.
There is a humility that Buddha had and Gandhi and Jackie Robinson and what you do to help people in areas you serve will be your legacy.
Delaware is the first state. It says so on the license plate!
