So proud his origins are in my home country Sri Lanka. Was the main vocalist with the Sri Lankan band The Spitfires & later with Mignone & The Jetliners, in the 1960s & early 1970s. Migrated to Australia in 1972. Still has excellent voice control even at 80, singing this old Nat King Cole song.👍👊👏

Well done Conrad. What a great performance. Heard your band so many times on Radio Ceylon’s English broadcast when I lived in India. I’m sure we even had a Jetliners album. So many people don’t know that western music is played and listened to in our part of the world.
