Hey so I have a question, I have a 8 year old that is a struggling reading she knows her letters but has issues with blending the sounds, she doesn't know spelling . Any ideas of where I could start to help her to thrive? I've looked up our state standards but don't understand them. New to homeschooling and I feel like I'm failing her. Right now I'm using hooked on phonics, and adapted mind for reading until I'm able to get things together.
