Ep. 279: Mamba Monster X 8S ARRMA Typhon Install

This is a quick one showing some "under the hood" views of the new Castle Mamba Monster X 8S ESC installed int the Stock ESC location on an ARRMA Typhon V1. I did have to remove a little plastic ridge that helps retain the stock BLX ESC, but that only took a few minutes with my rotary tool.

For some reason my fan do not stay on after the 6 or 8 beeps. It goes off. I thought the fan is suppose to stay on at all times unless it’s a sensor fan m guessing & im running sensorless on the motor. Esc gives off 1 beep every now & then while car idle. Steering & throttle is perfect no problems fan comes on when strait esc then goes off after the beeps

Apologies for the dumb question, is that a 1515/1717 motor? I'm looking at chucking a 2028/800kv into my Typhon, just getting an eyeball for the size of everything :)

Rhouse 21 i was thinking to put this exact motor and esc in my kraton 6s v4. Not for speet run but just for street running and drifting. Do you think it will handle nicely.?
