WOODTURNING Strange willow, spalted willow piece, between a bowl and a hollow form.

This was not easy wood to turn I haven't had that many willow pieces and I find it difficult to turn as the density of the wood changes a lot. it is also easy to tear out the fibers making it hard to finish. I was trying to keep some of the rough wood near the base which I think is interesting. I was going to put a copper leaf on the inside but then thought that it might be better without it , i might change my mind again.

how do you restrain your lathe? mines a it light and likes to jump around, not bolted to the ground
